 Devil's Millhopper Geological State Park Gainesville, Florida Hurricane Irma in 2017 washed away parts of the boardwalk and the 232 steps to the sinkhole. the Park was closed until mid 2019.  boardwalk redesigned and number of steps reduced to 132. new visitor's center 2026 trail around the sinkhole new boardwalk end stage of boardwalk 2026 old boardwalk 2010
