Eglise Saint-Sulpice founded in 1646 - completed in 1870 location : Rue Bonaparte & Rue Saint-Sulpice baroque and neoclassical architecture the second largest church in Paris ( Notre Dame the largest ) The two towers on the front of the building are mismatched in height and style . one was rebuilt and modified between 1777-1780 to make it taller and more neoclassical.  the French revolution stopped any plans to remodel the other tower side chapel  is dedicated to French priest Jean-Baptiste de La Salle.  founder of popular education for children of the poor. Christ on the cross Grand Organ  over 6500 pipes installed in 1781 renovated and enlarged in 1860 Pulpit  ornate mable  completed 1788

Rue de Bièvre Very old street of Paris, named in 1250 on the maps at the time.   connects the Boulevard Saint-Germain to the Quai de la Tournelle (Seine) François Mitterrand, President of the Republic  lived in this street at the time of his presidency. Always fun to find an image very similar to my shot and this view is easy to find on various googled pages.
