paste up urban art by stoeyes Paris,  2023 a longtime fan of street art . this one is a new genre for me. one that is becoming more prevalent. most of my street art captures have been in three categories ( graffiti, spray paint murals and sculptures ). I'm beginning to appreciate  'paste up' art as an alternative to spray paint murals which need to be maintained. the gel or adhesive ( usually wheat paste ) that attaches a print is not  permanent and can be easily removed and replaced.

 Wallace Fountains   celebrating over 150 years of providing potable water  in France. Approximately 106 fountains still in operation in Paris. The original model  features four caryatids  ( kindness, simplicity,charity and sobriety ) Wallace fountains can be found in over 20 countries. the US currently has nine . New Orleans was gifted a fountain in 1984. located in Latrobe Park near the French Market. However it is not s working fountain. located  Saint Sulpice located  Latrobe Park New Orleans, La.

 

Book shops have such an appeal.  None more so than Shakespeare and Company. A must stop and shop on every visit to Paris. The only drawback interior photography is not allowed..
