Three Sisters Springs Crystal River, Florida Jan. 2018 ... a really beautiful Springs managed by the city of Crystal River ... the admission fee is really too high when compared to the other Springs managed by the State Park system. ... seniors pay $12.50 for the one day admission. there are no concessions on site, two porta potties and a very nice boardwalk around the Springs. .. on a cold winters day you might be fortunate to see manatees.

Vermilion Flycatcher ( female ) Lake Apopka Wildlife Drive Apopka, Florida Jan. 5 ,2018 not a common everyday bird that you will see in Florida. Eight years ago I saw my first Vermilion Flycatcher on La Chua Trail. Lucky enough yesterday to get a few shots of this little female. Hope it doesn't take another eight years for a sighting.
