American  Bald  Eagle   2017 eagles  have  returned  to  Lochloosa. the nest  withstood  hurricane  Irma and needs a bit of  repair, but  that  should  not  take  very  long. ... miss  all  the  birds  in  the  backyard. so  far  haven't  had  any visitors  to the  feeder .

Juvenile  Black  Crowned  Night  Heron this  poor baby  wanted  to  be  fed and  the parent  kept  moving  further up  the  tree  and  away.  but  a  persistent  fellow   he  didn't  give  up   until  the  parent  flew    to  another  tree.
