vintage pecan sign  Madison Florida a familiar sight whenever I pedalled my clunker bike to town.  sign has been in place 60+ years. only sold pecans here a few times before  finding the shop one block over that gave a better price. Jean and I would each fill a 2 pound bag with pecans, too much work and impatience to fill a larger bag. riding our bikes to town to sell them for 'pocket money'. wasn't a lot of change..  maybe  50 cents. but that was enough to buy the latest comic book  and a candy bar. Oh yes ...
