I  always   return  to   this  house  ... just  ask  any  local  resident for  directions  to    ' midnight  in  the  garden  of  good and  evil '  house.

Mingo  Falls    150  steps  leading  from the viewing  platform to  the  carpark ...  rated  'moderate'  in  difficulty ...  that  must  be  on  a good  day.. not  after  rain  and  wet  leaves have  accumulated.

Elder  Mill  Covered  Bridge spans  the  Rose  Creek    Watkinsville,  Georgia   built  in  1897 ... one  of  thirteen  functional  covered  bridges in  Georgia. ..

Savannah  Cotton  Exchange   circa  1886    100  East  Bay  Street .. the  original   winged  Lion  Fountain   was  installed  in  1889 and  stood  guardian  over    the  Exchange  until  Sept.  2008   when  it  was  destroyed  by  a  car  crashing  into  the  fountain. .. current   Lion  was  restored in  2009

Forsyth  Park  Fountain    circa  1858   Savannah, Ga. ... couldn't  let  the  rain  ruin  the Savannah  stopover .   so  with  umbrella  and a   plastic  bag to protect  the camera ,  set  out  for  a walk  around  the squares. ... rain  and  bad  lighting   not  ideal  shooting  conditions.

Mingo  Falls    Cherokee , NC Dec.  2017 ... located  about  5  miles  from  Cherokee.  the  trail  to  the  falls  is  about  . 4 miles  and  includes  161  steps   to  climb   before  reaching  the  viewing  platform. .. the  view  is  worth  the  effort !!
